Every once in a while I want to get a little artsy with a card. This is one of those times. I have used a lot of stamps from the Occasions Catalog that I have pictured in their sets. Crackle Paint, Geared Up, and Best Catch. See how I used the smoke stamp from all Geared up for the water? I used two blue’s to achieve that look. I also used the Shimmery White embossing Paste for the foam. The hook is actually a yellow toothpick with a feather wrapped around it using our Gold Metallic Thread and the Silver Metallic Thread for the line. Fun Stuff! I love this Angel and I wish she would be in the catalog longer so I could use her for Valentines Day! She would also be appropriate for a Sympathy Card. I choose a Victorian style Christmas Card and made this for a very special friend who helps me with my Stampin’ Up! business and I appreciate her so much. I stamped her in Stazon black on Watercolor paper and watercolored her with an Aqua painter and Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, And Crushed Curry re-inkers. I stamped the corners in Pear Pizzazz and used the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies in White for the little spray of flowers on the bottom. I added pearls and some roses that Stampin’ Up! sold a while ago but fit perfectly with this card. Add Powder Pink Shimmery Ribbon to finish it up!
