One more Sparkle of the Season card – with a Christmas theme. Remember to apply an Adhesive Sheets to the cardstocks, die-cut, create an “assembly line” and assemble at your leisure. The Painted Christmas DSP in the background was cut to 4 x 5.25″, then cut at the 2-inch mark on the long side and flip to reveal the backside pattern. How about a masculine card? My friend Leila Pals created this card. It made me laugh because it is a magic card – kind of like how whiskey “magically” disappears at a party! LOL! When browsing the catalog, we sometimes get so focused on the stamp sets that we may overlook the matching Designer Series Papers. One of my favorites is Brightly Gleaming DSP. The piece I chose for this card has a Night of Navy background with copper foil accents – beautifully highlighted with the Joy Dies. This is a simple, gorgeous card that anyone would love to receive! My final salute to the military is represented in these two cards. Both cards could honor the memory of a lost soldier while the star card could also be used to honor a member of the Coast Guard (another important branch of our Armed Forces).
