Poinsettia wreath project

Thanksgiving is tomorrow.  Many of us will not be spending the holiday with loved ones.  Perhaps, if you are feeling crafty, this wreath project might inspire you.  The wreath features the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and Poinsettia Dies (discounted 10% when bundled).  The flowers are simply die-cut from Vellum Cardstock and embossed using Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I started with a Strala wreath from Ikea that lights up!  But, you could easily use a styrofoam wreath wrapped in ribbon and add lights, if you so choose.  A video to help you with all the details can be found at:  https://youtu.be/UPKI6ryuUOg.  I am thankful for so much this Thanksgiving – especially my children and grandchildren!  Count your blessings and enjoy your holiday!  See more like this at stampwithgloria.com.

Sneak Peek Week: Wishes and Wonders

If you have followed my blog for awhile, you know I love vintage cards and that I use a lot of vintage images and colors in my projects.  The Wishes & Wonder stamp set caught my eye as its images remind me of vintage postcards.  With that in mind, I chose Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand as the colors.  I accented the edge with a perimeter of Tear & Tape Adhesive, topped with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then applied heat with a Heat Tool  It combines the vintage images with a tarnished old-fashioned border.  The background is stamped images and layered Tasteful Label Dies.  Does vintage strike your fancy?  More like this at stampwithgloria.com.
