Hydrangeas are my favorite flower! The brightly-colored Hydrangea Hill DSP can be used all by itself to create a lovely card. But, I wanted to demonstrate how well the new Brilliant Wings Dies work with the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. As you know, one of my favorite techniques is watercoloring. For this card, I haphazardly applied re-inkers to the watercolor paper. Once dry, I ran the watercolor paper through the dies, creating butterflies that complement the DSP beautifully. This cute ‘We’ll Walrus Be Friends‘ stamp set is being retired in June! I’ll miss the walrus image and punny sentiments. One Hull of a Day! I can’t help myself with puns! These simple cards combine the Country Club DSP and By the Dock Bundle. Layering vibrant cardstock colors using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies really make the oars POP! View my 03-22-2020 Facebook Live video for the techniques used. They opened the golf courses on Friday. Dare I ask if they might open the lakes? Our Governor extended the Stay At Home order until Memorial Day. This is devastating to the industries that rely on that weekend to kick start their summer season. I am going to think positive and pray the Governor rescinds his order and lets Wisconsin open before Memorial Day. In the meantime, these cards may cheer up the guys in your life! I have to admit that painting with watercolors is my favorite thing to do. Simply pull out the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, grab the re-inkers needed and go to it!
