Summer Time and Family!

I thought it would be fun to share this picture of my family.  Especially for those customers that have been with me for more than 20 years.  Most of you saw my kids when they were little and now they are grown with a family of their own.   My daughter Rachel is missing because she just changed jobs and had to work.  Otherwise, we have Ashlee and her husband Kyle.  Their two children Natalee and Grace, Pete, Corbin and myself.

I am still a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and am still loving it!   The new Holiday catalog that is out on September 4th is again amazing!  If you would like  a copy please email me at or check out things in the new annual catalog at the upper right of this page.   School starts soon so enjoy the last bit of summer:).

Cool huh!

Do you have a “Beautiful Friendship?”

A “Beautiful Friendship” is so easy to work with!  I went a little different with Basic Gray roses.  I wanted a very vintage look.  I layered this card with our new Stitched Lace Thinlet.  It gave me the old fashioned subtle look that I love.  It is hard to see but I gave it a shimmery look with shimmer paint.  I painted it on with a paintbrush!  This card shines and would be appreciated by anyone of your Friends!  See more:

Did you have a “Soft Spring” full of color?

The first time I saw Wisteria was when I went to visit my daughter in South Carolina!  The fat clusters of flowers were beautiful and kind of dreamy.  With the new Hostess Set “Soft Spring” and a little ink and paper, you can whip up a beautiful card that echoes the same sentiment as the real thing.  I used  Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather Pads along with the coordinating paper.   Frame it with our new Stitched Nested Labels and add a bit of Linen thread and you have a very soothing simple card for any occasion.  See more at;

In Colors and To A Wild Rose

Did you check out our new IN-Colors?  I was in a mood to combine colors people might not normally think of.  I used Terracotta Tile and  Pretty Peacock on this card.  I mixed them in with Crushed Curry and Shaded Spruce.  See how this Card is rich with color and has a feel of Fall.  Not that I am thinking of fall I am just thinking outside of the box a bit. 🙂 NOTE” Currently Purple Posy is currently on back order.  Check back frequently at to check availability.
