Mother’s Day is over but we could still have “Tea Together”.

I wish I could take credit for this delightful card but, my friend Cheryl Vorhess made this card!   It is so beautiful using the blends and gold embossing.  Look at the work! She used the Tea Time Dies, and the Stitched Rectangles to make a frame. Finish it off with homey looking subtles 6 x 6 DSP checked paper and this is a card any girl would like!

Birthday Cheer! All Year Long!

The Edgelites Dies that go with this set are a little different!   This card is fussy but so worth it for someone special.   I used the package edgelit and cut it out in sparkle Glimmer Paper.   I created a background pattern so I could make the gifts in different colors.   I sponged the background using Chicken wire Elements from the Holiday Catalog but you can achieve this look using the netting from your fruit or vegetables from the grocery store.   The big Package was fussy cut and I used Scallop and Circle Punches to layer the Birthday Sentiment in the upper right-hand corner of the card.  It is hard to see all the sparkle but this card has a real festive pop in person.

Beauty Abounds on this -13 winterday!

Have you seen the Butterfly Beauty Thninlits Dies?  On there own they are beautiful but you can also combine them like in the Occasions Catalog on page 13 with light and dark colors.   This card was made by a friend of mine.   She cut out the butterflies and with the sponge she created an ombre look that turned out beautifully.   She did an additional ombre look on a piece of whisper white cardstock and cut out the weeds.  The look is amazing!   The technique is simple.  The artist is Amanda Bodine

We have snow and brrrrr… baby it is cold outside!

BRRR baby it is cold outside! You can see my inspiration for this card came from my backyard!   I used the Colorful Seasons Set along with the matching Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  This card was so easy by using one of the Sheets from the Wood Textures 6 x6 DSP.  I  used Palette Knives and the Shimmery White Embossing Paste lightly on the background.  Then I added the snowflakes and chair and added a little more Shimmery Paste on the top of the chair and snowflakes to complete the picture.  Since I wanted a bright card I attached the DSP to Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and made the Andirondack Chair Cherry Cobbler to pull it all together.  Remember to order with the Hostess Code to get an additional gift!

Plaid is certainly on Trend now and this card is no exception!   Leila Pals made this card with the Festive Farmhouse DSP, which has an assortment of plaids and also neutrals. It will be the best $11.00 you ever spend!  She paired the DSP with The Labels to Love Set which coordinates with Everyday Label Punch in the main catalog!  And she brings in the homey feel with the Cable Folder as well as a Boxwood Wreath to make it truly a Merry Christmas!
