Follow your Dreams with an easy fall colored Card!

The dreamcatcher was originally made by Native Americans to catch your bad dreams and give you only good dreams. So, the inspiration for this card came from the original dreamcatchers which were typically made with horsehair and decorated with feathers and beads.   So, I cut the dream catcher out of Early Espresso to simulate the horsehair and the dreamy background was achieved with the clear acrylic block “F” in our main catalog.  The process is easy!  Put pad to acrylic block in three layers.  I used Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, and Pumpkin Pie Pads.  Then spritz the watercolor paper and stamp down on the paper with the acrylic block.  If you want more blending, move back and forth with the acrylic block.  The more you move, the muddier you will make the colors.  Less movement makes bright brilliant color. And I used Bermuda Bay Card Stock for the word “dream”.  And the Faceted Gems in the center of the dreamcatcher simulate beads beautifully!
